A beautiful story
At the crossroads of innovation and craftsmanship, DELSEY PARIS was born in 1946 from the meeting of the Delahaye workshops, makers of leather camera cases, and the Seynhaeve company, which specialized in protective cases for the great inventions of the era. Driven by the ambition of Emile Delahaye and the brothers André & Walter Seynhaeve, the House united its expertise - and their names - to create a signature of French-style travel.

With the rise of the first paid holidays and the birth of tourism, DELSEY PARIS imagined luggage suited to a new way of traveling. Bags, vanity cases and suitcases accompanied the first holidaymakers, from the Nationale 7 road to the early days of train and air travel, already embodying French elegance and savoir-faire.
The essential of the art of travel
In the 1970s, DELSEY PARIS revolutionized travel with the first ultra-resistant hard-shell suitcases, then invented the trolley system with retractable wheels, transforming travelers' mobility for good. Over the decades, DELSEY PARIS has continued to innovate around lightness, maneuverability and security, most notably with the patented SECURITECH® zip.
