For several years, we have been developing a range of initiatives to control our energy and environmental footprint, design luggage that is more respectful of the environment and promote socially responsible practices.
In 2023, to go further and consolidate our initiatives, we carried out the carbon assessment of DELSEY PARIS. Based on the conclusions of this assessment and integrating the expectations of our main stakeholders, we have restructured our approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). We have defined our future objectives and directions around 3 key pillars:

L'HUMAIN
Gilles Bariguian, CEO DELSEY PARIS
“Our vocation is to inspire travelers to explore and discover the world. Being a responsible economic player, brand and employer that controls and optimizes its environmental and social impact is a priority for DELSEY PARIS.

Meeting the challenges of climate change
We are aware of the emissions linked to our industry, particularly in the production and transport of our products, which is why we are committed to meeting the challenges of our environmental impact. We are thus committed to controlling our carbon emissions (both direct and indirect [1]).

Eco-design & repairability
We are committed to developing durable, secure, quality products while controlling our impact and our ecological footprint. In terms of product development, we focus our efforts on two main aspects: eco-design and the lifespan of our products.
Working on eco-design is key: it allows our teams to integrate the issues related to product life cycles and their impact on the environment right from the design phase. That is why we favor repairable products and focus our efforts on the use of replaceable components: wheels, handles, trolley systems… This repairability, combined with our worldwide warranty of up to 10 years on certain products, allows us to extend the lifespan of our products as much as possible. Our repair centers and our After-Sales Service support our customers to encourage luggage repair.

Recycled & recyclable materials
We are also working to find alternatives to the use of virgin plastic and favor recycled and recyclable materials, in particular by developing recycled ranges [2], while ensuring the quality, resistance and safety of our products. In 2024, 45% of our linings are made from 100% recycled material. This is an increase of 9 points compared with 2023.
[2] In 2024, more than 52% of our products incorporate recycled materials.
2028 — Our objective is for 100% of our products to incorporate recycled material.
Eliminate all single-use plastics from packaging and/or replace them with an eco-responsible alternative.

Leading by example in our relationships with our suppliers
DELSEY PARIS has developed an exemplary policy for selecting and monitoring suppliers. As part of our CSR commitment, we make sure that any social risk is limited and that human rights are guaranteed for every person working for one of our suppliers, thanks to the external audit platform AMFORI.
DELSEY PARIS partners are selected on the basis of ESG criteria, which comply with globally accepted social compliance standards. All DELSEY PARIS partners are registered on this platform and are physically audited by a third party, at least once a year. We will make sure that all our suppliers are audited and that the results of these audits meet DELSEY PARIS ESG standards. We are also committed to taking the necessary measures against any supplier that fails to comply with the required environmental and social (ESG) standards.
Our suppliers are audited once a year via the AMFORI platform

Objective: Increase the use of sea and rail transport
Regarding the “Transport” component of our supply chains, we have already implemented various actions, including optimizing container loads and the means of transport. Over the coming years, we will strengthen these actions and are working to integrate rail transport into our logistics strategy. Our objective is to work with transport companies committed to improving their environmental performance, and to limit our use of road and air transport.
Creating real impact for our employees
DELSEY PARIS is determined to keep strengthening its social commitment by creating a working environment where employees feel supported, valued and motivated. We are committed to finding new ways to have a positive impact on our employees by offering them development opportunities and ensuring their work-life balance.

Diversity & Inclusion
DELSEY PARIS promotes a clear policy on equality, diversity and inclusion. A “zero tolerance” policy is enforced with regard to discrimination, with the aim of creating a respectful and inclusive working environment. Since 2024, any wrongdoing can be reported through a secure and confidential digital platform.

Training
DELSEY PARIS fosters a corporate culture that values and supports continuous learning and personal development. We facilitate access to online learning for flexible, on-demand development. The ambition of DELSEY PARIS is to ensure professional growth and job satisfaction.

Health
DELSEY PARIS guarantees all employees a minimum level of health coverage giving them access to primary care. By 2026, the objective is to strengthen these minimum guarantees in order to provide more comprehensive coverage.
GENDER PAY EQUALITY INDEX
In accordance with the French law of 5 September 2018, our company is proud to have achieved a score of 88/100 for 2025. This index is calculated on the following criteria:
1- The pay gap: comparison of average pay between women and men, by age bracket and socio-professional category;
2- The gap in the distribution of individual pay rises between women and men;
3- The percentage of female employees receiving a raise on return from maternity leave;
